Rocket girl

She flew through here, last night
Halley's comet in flight
Star wind breeze in her hair
fiery eyes, the rocket's glare

Diamond smile, my delight

Now she is back in space
never saw her face
Courage I could deploy
if I could be rocket boy

Nova explosion, celestial embrace

It will be a long, long time
before I'm the one she will find
My dreams are earthbound
my feet chained to ground

held by this cruel sphere
I'll blast off with my love
break though clouds, rise above

Goodbye world, we'll disappear
