I'm going to beat you like the red-headed clown freak you are

Last night, in between the constant comments of how McNabb and Owens are acting like teenage girls at a slumber party, I saw a vision.

The McRib was back.

Before you get out of sorts for my professing of a love for a fast food item, let me explain. Geeks tend to be very cheap when it comes to food. Even cooking geeks are cheap when it comes to food. To us, food is not worth taking the money from the toys. So it's not uncommon for our pallet to eschew the norm and over time develop a preference for these low cost entrees.

My personal vice is the McRib. It is perfection, displaying a Zen balance of simplicity. Meat (mostly pork, I think... closer to real meat than spam at least), pickle and onion. Tied together with a tangy sauce, and left under a heat lamp - allowing the needed time for the flavors to meld in to one glorious sandwitch. However, this is the last time we'll be together. So today I left work for lunch, and headed to my local utopia dealer, to beging the very hard job of saying goodbye.

And that's where it happened. No McRib. No signs in the window, no item on the menu, no spontaneous orgies of joy in the bathrooms. I was pissed (and slightly depressed about the orgies). I vowed that if this great injustice was not resolved by the marrow, I shall return to preform what will become known as the McGriddle Massacre; read about in future history textbooks. To back up my threat, I ordered a double and fries separately, with no drink, there by eluding the combo meal ripoff scheme.

At this point, I saw two managers in the back, speaking into an apple pie box. I knew they would be calling in the Fry Guys to take care of me. I grabbed Mayor McCheese and held a diet coke to his head: my eyes told the cashier I had the balls to use it. My order was bagged, I backed out slowly, made it to my truck, and a mile away I dropped off the mayor on the side of the road.

I'm taking a risk getting this out, but don't fear, I'm somewhere safe. I may need to lay low the next few days, but I'll be back.

And I'll have my McRib, oh yes, I'll have my McRib.

Isn't a vegan boycott of a burger joint... redundant?

I wanted to tell you that I've been eating primarily a vegan diet for the last seven months, with a lot of it being raw fruits and veggies. And its great! WBR LeoP
