Today marks the first day of "real" photography. No photoshop, no lighting adjust in picasa. These photos are as the camera made them.

The image of the deer crossing sign is what sparked the photo shoot. Last night I passed this altered sign on the road and thought I needed to capture the humor before it was gone. I also wanted to take the shot for a good
friend, a highly skilled photographer himself who happens to have a "
no parking" sign fetish.
The storm was just chance; after getting home the sky started lighting up like the christmas tree I just took down, so I was lucky to catch three so-so photos of the sky. To get these three I took about 50, oy.
The iron bird, is well, an iron bird. I have to admit, even a shmuck like myself can look pretty skilled with a camera when the subject is interesting. I'll have to make a note of that for future shoots.

the dinky thumbnails are nice and all... but we're hardly likely to get your Deer Sign "joke" you mentioned when we can only barely see that it's a Deer Crossing sign as it is.

In other words... make'em clickable. Ie.
Deer Crossing Pic
PS. What's the deal with your blog saying you have no comments even after I posted one... then clicking "Post A Comment" brings up...... my comment. WTH!

I fully intended to make them clicky... they are hosted on flickr and I was going to make a "badge" for them all... flickr has been acting slow as hell so after 3 hours of waiting they still hadn't updated my photo tags to do the linking. The next day, my tag was updated, but blogger won't allow the script tag in a blog post (even though you can place them in your template). I then said screw it, but forgot I didn't make the links. So now I'm lazy and made a link to them all.
And blogger tells you "you may not see your comment, don't repost" so that sounds like a user error =p
