Well, not quite, but I'm sure that will be the spin. The real story is someone gave the walking pacemaker a 28 guage shot gun, and he then he shot someone in the face. That someone is 78-year-old man.

Before you get all rightous, that someone is also a millionaire lawyer who's been active with Texas politics for a while now and has been appointed to state boards by Bush (when he was gov). Yeah, I don't know how to feel about it either.

The good news; the vice-president has several medical people around him at all times including the handy ambulance on call which drove the lawyer away. (He's doing fine it seems).
