Ballad of Willis Gulch

Friday the 17th I woke up for an unknown reason at 6am, went out to the living room and turned on the light. After I got back in bed, my brother darkened my door, and said, "You're awake? I flipped my Jeep." Since he was standing, I felt no need to loose sleep over this, muttered "dumb ass" and went back to sleep.

DSCF0593 Flipped isn't correct... drove off a 30 foot cliff is more accurate. It was dark, and he approached what looked like a hill. He stopped, not sure what was on the other side, and approached slowly. Once he realized what was on the other side, there was no going back. He did the only thing he could do, and slid down a tree.

DSCF0589Somehow he walked away with only a sore ass and a shin scrape. I'm seeing about getting him a walk-on role with I Shouldn't Be Alive. I did the only thing a brother should do, I took photos and made a video (and placed them on the internet). EDL recently told me how her mother was concerned to know all details of her life. With the stuff the Neel boys do, our mother is happy with knowing we didn't break anything. Including ourselves.

my brother and i once did this - drove off a cliff. he hyrdoplaned and he went straight while the road curved down and around a cliff. it split the axle in two and popped a tire or two, i hurt my knee on the gear shift and the wrist on the rear view mirror, he hurt hius arm on the steering wheel - we walked away. the car sat in the middle of a corn field below the cliff and the guy was not happy about the tow truck driving through his corn (but i guess he was less happy about the car). i also rode shotgun in a friends car when she drove off a bridge. both are cases of the stupids (for me to ride with these idiot people) but it makes a great story =)
