The Advantage

If you are old enough to remember when parachute pants were cool, then you remember all those great Nintendo games. You also remember those great game theme songs, played in hi-fi 8-bit glory. So what do you do when you need a fix and your plasma TV doesn't have an RF coaxial input for your NES? Enter The Advantage:

The Advantage

Elf-Titled

I've been hooked on these guys for the past few days. They play Nintendo theme songs, from the mega hits to the rare gems, with rock band instruments. Highly recommended, and you can hear some samples on the Amazon site.

Samus would be proud.

I hate those in-line advertisements. It's like watching "24" and having Keifer pant into the camera: "This *huff* *huff* chase scene *huff* *huff* brought to you by *huff* *huff* Kellog Foods and Sony Media who, *huff* *huff* want to remind you to pick up the latest Jessica Simpson album. Ah hah! We nabbed him!"

"Ah, if only I had been wearing the new Nike x5's! I could have gotten away!"
