I can vouchon that!

I've just learned of an interesting new service that will be open to the public soon: VouchOn.  I feel all special - normally I read about these sites only well after they have gone live and everyone (but me) has an account.  Today, I'm the trend setter!

The first thing you'll notice on the site is the web 2.0 design meme - and that's good because we have a true web 2.0 site.  The process works like this, you post a question and people who can "vouch" for a company or product that answers the question reply.

An example: stuboo asked if anyone can "vouchon a nice breakfast tea?".  Stuboo is dropping coffee and needs a good tea to wake up to - so it must have caffeine and taste good straight - no milk, honey, lemon, etc.  Stuboo had a reply, but I felt I could "vouch" for Republic of Tea and left my own answer.

Questions and answers are the basic elements of the site, but you have the extras we expect in web 2.0, including rating other's answers, tagging, and RSS feeds.  As I said at the start, the site is not public yet and may under go some changes before then.  You can go to the homepage and sign up to be a beta tester and wait to be accepted... or leave me a comment here with the email you want to join with and I'll use my connections to hook you up!
