.Net Link Roundup

tagged: .net roundup

I'm going to steal the link roundup post idea from the blogoshpere for my very own.  I plan on doing this weekly, but it may not be the same day every week.  You'll just have to subscribe to my rss feed.  On with the links!

Making Sense of the Microsoft Technology Avalanche - Michele Bustamante helps breakdown the slew of acronyms coming from Redmond these days.  Included is a list of .Net technologies and links to find out more.

SQL Server Express Pre-Built Database Designs and Hosting Toolkit - Dan Fernandez links us to some useful tools for SQL Server Express.  The pre-built schemas are great for learning database design by example or just to bootstrap your current project.  the Hosting Toolkit makes it easier to take a local SQL Server Express database and deploy it to your web host.

Coping with Click-Happy AJAX Application Users - Dan Wahlin has some great example code to handle those annoying click happy users that break AJAX applications for sport.

Creating Sophisticated Animations with the Microsoft AJAX Library - Jeff Prosise shows us how to use the AJAX Control Toolkit AnimationExtender to create complex animations from simple animations.  Also has red balloons.

WPF Rocks - Mark Miller explains why WPF is the most significant technology to come out of Microsoft. Ever.  I agree, and you'll see more WPF posts coming from me in the near future.

Glad to see that you're jumping on the link love bandwagon too!

I'll drop you an email about the Smokies as soon as I figure out which game I'm hitting next! :)
