My Desktop

Tish tagged me to post a screenshot of my desktop.  Even though I have strong feelings about such things, I'm going to go ahead and share my desktop:

It's wide because I run two monitors, a 19 inch widescreen and a normal 19 inch.  The wallpaper is stock, as are the widgets on the left.  I think the biggest item of note is the lack of icons.  I don't like them.  Not on the desktop, not in my task tray, and not on my quick launch bar.  Not even with questionably colored pork product.  I do place items on my desktop to remind me I need to do them - the above image has sat on my desktop a few days as you can tell by looking at the calendar in the image.

I'm not going to provide a reason for my icon hate - you'll just have to accept it.

Thanks for playing along, Mike! What a pretty wallpaper! I saw a review on a product that removes your desktop icons and organizes them in some "cleaner" fashion. Can't remember the name of it, but it looked pretty neat. I might have to give it a try. Your desktop looks so nice and clean!
